A beautiful place with friendly people, great food, and a stunning view! A visit here goes well with a short hike (the Mühlenweg) ?

The sanctuary is beautifully situated along a stream that once powered the Benz Mill; it flows through the animals’ pastures and creates a wonderful soundscape. You can visit by car or take a leisurely walk. The food is sooo delicious and varied! The farm is designed with great attention to detail and vibrant colors, so everyone can feel at home. I’m looking forward to my next visit ♡

We stumbled upon Lebenshof by chance while visiting relatives in nearby Achern and looking for vegan food. We were absolutely thrilled—with the surroundings, the animals, the atmosphere, and the food. We wholeheartedly recommend a visit there. There’s a great sandbox for kids. We’ll definitely be back! In mid-September, I was finally invited to the Lebenshof and got to spend two whole days there with the people I love most. The moment I arrived, it felt like “coming home.” Everyone was so warm and welcoming—it was just so comfortable—and all the little details everywhere—it was a dream. It was exactly what I needed to recharge my batteries. The food was absolutely amazing! I practically worked my way through the entire menu and was once again amazed at what you can create with vegan cuisine. The Lebenshof isn’t just a safe space for animals but also a true haven of peace for people. I’ll definitely be back—but next time with my family, so we can order the entire menu all at once. A wonderful place to live, relax, and just be. The staff is super friendly, attentive, young, and personable. The selection of tarte flambée is diverse. I could hardly decide which one to choose. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained, and equipped with all sorts of amenities (deodorant, toiletries, etc.). Thank you! The animals are very friendly and curious. The goats and geese, in particular, are really sweet. The two farm dogs are also simply living their best lives. Two once-tormented souls are finally able to settle in, live, and enjoy themselves—without fear, coercion, or violence. A huge thank you for that, too! ❤️
